This book is just amazing and to hold you to the very last few pages not knowing what is happening but still to be able to close the whole story off in those last few pages and not wanting more is just pure great story telling. I savoured pages of this book, enjoyed the twists and turns, the story has left me so fulfilled what an amazing read. I need to go and find more from this writer what an amazing stroke of luck to find this book. I cannot recommend this enough and the mind games will have you so entwined - just brilliant. There's dark fiction and then there's no-escape-from-the-darkness dark fiction. This book is the latter. If you think you are a dark fiction fan, this book will put you to the test. After reading it, you will know if you are the real deal dark lover or just a dabbler on the dark side. It's a mind f$$k. You will be doing yourself in right along with the heroine. Most dark heroes I find myself liking or at least understanding WHY they are that way, for example Sebastian from Skals or Calvin from Hero. There is usually some effort on their part to grow a freakin heart, but not this dark hero. He is truly past redemption.
