This is the eighth book in the Alex rider series and it was one of the best because of all the cliffhangers and exciting chapters. There are only two more books in the series and I hope they are as good as this one. It was also the perfect size book for me because it was about 400 pages long and if it really is any longer then that it tends to get pretty boring. I would give this book a thumbs up just like all the other Alex rider books. The only thing that would have made it better would be if he would have had more gadgets in this book. He only had two exploding ink pens and a calculator that helped him contact MI6. I really liked Crocodile Tears by Anthony Horowitz because it was very suspenseful. Alex Rider did things that you would not expect. The plot was very good because it took a big twist. Alex needs protection so he goes to MI-6 but they need him to find out something about a man. Alex gets captured and sent to Kenya where the man is going to start a plague to get money. He blows up a dam and saves the people with the help of a RAW agent.
