The plot is pretty flimsy, but the bdsm is hot. This has m/m, m/f, and m/f/m. I wish it had more m/m/f. This is about one Dom and his two subs. This is a short book, which makes you think you must have missed out on several earlier books in the series which had the character development. No, you didn't miss out on such books. This is the first book in the series and it is less than 200 pages. The ending happens so quickly. I felt the ending was rushed. The author could have written another 3-4 chapters to really tie up all the loose ends. There are also glaring typos. The second hero's name is Nate. On page 5, he's referred to as "Nick". The Nick reference happens at least three other times. Was the editor asleep? That aside, I liked the bdsm aspects. It's safe, consensual and not degrading. I've read far kinkier things. I actually expected more from the story given the fact the Dom had a room devoted to just this type of activity. For once the cover of a book actually has models who resemble the characters in the book. I just wish the story had been longer. Meh. I felt like I read half of a book. I actually checked to make sure that I hadn't started in the middle of a series or something. Just way too little background information given on Wolf, Kayla and Nate. The way that they all called each other by their last names, even in intimate situations, seemed rather impersonal. The menage scenes were not very detailed and seemed very impersonal. The characters just didn't seem to know each other very well (even Wolf and Nate who had been D/s for three years) and all the torture that Wolf pulled on Nate with his testicles just to me didn't do it. Meh. The whole external subplot with the trial wasn't very well put-together, it didn't make a lot of sense, and even though this book is 192 pages, it felt a lot shorter, more like 110 pages or so.
What do You think about Danger Zone (2009)?
Sexy strong baddass ex-military heros and heroine. A happy ending, and scorching sex scenes. mmmmmm
