another jewel in this series !!! they just keep getting better and better !!! loved the honesty and the fears that are in this book cause we can relate, cause we all know that no matter how good something is, your fears and set ways are hard to change!! but when he loves you enough not to settle for less that what you both deserve and demands all from you, you are hard pressed not to go to him this is what happened with Michael and Sydney. he wanted to challenge and he didn't tolerate half give. She was used to always running away and never letting anyone or anything to keep here in one place. until him. When he challenged her, she had to stop and admit to her self and to him what she is and what she wants. sometimes a warning to stay away from someone is the best thing that can happen to you !p.s. Chewie is the STAR of the book !! I enjoyed this book, although not as much as some of Sierra Cartwright's other book. Michael Drayton is a Dom and a member of The Den. After being burned by his ex-wife, he doesn't do relationships, but enjoys playing with the subs who attend parities at The Den. Sydney Wallace is a sort-of-sub - she enjoys the sex part but doesn't want anyone telling her what she can and can't do. She had been collared in the past and it was a bad experience she doesn't want to repeat. Master Michael sees Sydney at a party and is immediately interested. Despite being warned off by Den caretaker Gregorio as well as owner Master Damien, Michael is intrigued. He and Sydney negotiate a scene that goes well, and he invites her back to his ranch. They both are enjoying the best sex they've had in years, maybe ever, but Sydney gets cold feet telling Michael she only wants sex, no relationship. The was a fast read with some really sexy scenes in it. Master Michael sounds hot, but I'm not sure what to think about Sydney. I had a hard time figuring out if she didn't have much of a personality, or if she was just closed off due to her prior. Which made it kinda hard to understand why Michael liked her so much (besides the sex). I know she was a challenge to him, but he seems more attached than even from that. Even when Sydney told him she loved him, it wasn't very emotional. But, I liked the rest of the book and am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
What do You think about Over The Line (2013)?
