I am really upset about this book in part because I spent around $7 for an 88 page story. Had I realized how short the book was, I would not have purchased it. But what makes me even more upset is that the plot (which was quite interesting) would have been much better served in maybe a 30 page short story rather than the 88 pages it encompassed. In fairness, I've read a couple Sierra Cartwright stories in the past and really enjoyed them but this is one story I could have skipped. 2.5 stars. I picked this up because of her shorts in the Doms of Dark Haven books with Cherise Sinclair. I didn't like this as much. First of all, there was an ongoing relationship between the two men that made me feel like I missed the book before this (though this was the first in a series). Secondly, while I enjoy books with a m/m/f theme, this story has taught me that I don't enjoy the parts that are m/m. With all three of them together, it was hot, but I never got to feel like I got to know the characters to root for them. I felt like I walked into the middle of their story. Had I seen the interaction of even Kayla and Stone in the house before Nate got there, I may have connected to the characters better, but I just didn't.
