Blake looked at me from the rearview mirror. “For breaking the arrangement with you,” he answered. “I don’t see why it matters; I’m still working the case,” I said, looking between both of them. “Yes, but when that information went public, the headlines put a great deal of bad publicity on the Governor and his staff for not using all available means to track the killer.”
