An absolute "Snoozefest". I usually will read a book once I start it, but this book I put down and picked up so many times attempting to get into it, I finally gave up. Convoluted story that starts as though you should know what's happening and after 25% of the book was read, I was no further along, than the beginning or so it seemed. I just had to put it down for good. Got the trilogy for Kindle and can't even make it through the first book. Thank goodness it was free. I really liked the fast paced action of this and the fantasy element is great, however, I think the book is a little let down by the confusing toing and froming between different time periods and fights which initially confused me a little, but you do get used to it. Overall this is an entertaining read and I am loving the characters, I am currently reading and enjoying the next in the series, but these are the type of books that, I personally, would keep to read over and over again, but great for a boring rainy day.
What do You think about Death's Hand (2011)?
Lots of unrealistic fighting, not much of anything else. Though not poorly written overall.
