I'm officially hooked on this series, and this book completely changed the rules of the game.Elise will have to choose in the end, and normally she had no problem with that because she's beyond practical, but what happens when the choice is between the practical thing and her dream come true?I loved this, the whole story changed, and I loved that! It shows growth when you go from the mundane life she had in book one to THIS. The ending is AMAZING and even clever, with the way things worked out. I can only hope that...well, I wouldn't want to spoil. I highly recommended you pick this series up now. I'm so glad I bought this book! I really enjoyed the first three, but didn't think I would be willing to buy the next one. It was definitely worth it. Great plot, great character development and a good story. I found that the flashbacks were handled a lot better than in previous books (especially the first one), where it felt like the author was basically dumping a whole different story onto the reader. Here the flashbacks are contained and actually serve to illuminate the current plot. I really like that there's the possibility of something romantic happening between the main characters but that it doesn't consume or drive the story. Already gearing up to read the next one (and probably the two after that, and then the next series of books with Elise in them)!
What do You think about Damnation Marked (2012)?
