They were overwhelmed.” Evelyn raised a disbelieving eyebrow. “Well, they were,” said Jeanne. “Besides, they couldn’t be expected to know the rules.” Peggy Sue said, “Good Lordy, Jeanne. It’s not like they’re not obvious.
