4 solid stars!This was beautiful :') , this story is about Theo a man in his forties who lost his long time partner Ben, this book is about his struggle everyday without his lover, the memories in the book about Ben and Theo were so sweet and beautiful :') , I loved how the writer build Theo's life again... How he makes friend with another man after Ben, how to flirt, how he discovered love agaiin...This was a sweet light read. :) , m/m romance is beautiful :') This is a really hard one for me to rate. There were things that I loved and things that I didn't love so much. I agree with some reviewers about the overload of flashbacks, not so much the ones about Ben, but looking back at what was happening in the current story. That did bug me a bit and made the book drag for me. However, the characters are very likable and Theo's pain felt so real to me. I especially loved the opening. I was crying in the first chapter as we got a look inside his grief and those sudden "oh, yeah, he's gone" moments. I don't feel like I wasted my time reading this and I wasn't really tempted to stop reading midway, so I'll check out more work by this author. It jumped between "amazing" and "okay" for me, so I'll split the difference and go with 4 stars for GR. If you're in the mood for something a little sad, a little funny, a little steamy, and a little hopeful, maybe this one will work for you.
