I pulled the handle back to spray washer fluid, but it only created a thick paste for the wipers to smear and made the problem worse. I tried a few more times to clear my view and cursed as it continued to get worse. The CB radio that hung from the underside of dash crackled and a garbled voice drifted through. I reached over to turn it off, but found myself unable to turn the dial all the way to the left. I never should have even turned the stupid thing on. Who was I going to talk to?
