Connie stood in the kitchen with her eyes scanning the mess. There was waffle batter all over the floor because the damn bowl had walked its way off the counter…again. Completely not my fault….again. This time, the bowl broke which had raised Connie’s mental flag. Smoke was pouring out of the glass lid that roofed the pan of bacon and the room was filling fast.
