This is mindless entertainment, romance in a world of werewolves, vampires, and witches. It's OK writing but not great. The book starts with the crisis inherited from the end of the last book. This story resolves that crisis but it leads to yet another one at the end of this book. Can't these guys ever catch a break? (I guess not as there would be no reason for a story.) In between incantations and confrontations it's all "I love you so much Darcy! No, I love you more Mason!).There is minor but inconsequential sloppiness with a few missing words and punctuation. I have two more books to get through before the happily ever after, apparently. I am so addicted to this series! And Mason is a book boyfriend you can totally swoon over. No matter what they go through Darcy and Mason hold on to their love to get them through. A new threat has arisen. Darcy learns a secret that can prove to tear her away from Mason forever.There is non stop action,never a dull moment.Everytime Darcy overcomes something that threats her life and gets in the way of her and Mason's happily ever after,she seems to find a way to defeat it.But this time Darcy may not be able to defeat the threat when it comes from within her.
