Not my fav VR book. It took the Author quite awhile to develop the new characters and too long to bring in old characters to the story. The storylines seamed too disconnected from each other. I wasn't a huge fan of Lilly's character. She seamed way younger than she was supposed to be so it made h...

I read a few other books in the Virgin River series and like the characters. A Navajo male (Clay) and a Hopi female (Lily) are romantically attracted in this serial. Horses bring them together initially, but of course there will be complications. Another theme is how to spend the estate of an ...
This is the ninth book in the Virgin River Series. This book is about Noah Kincaid a minister who buys the abandoned church in Virgin River. What a uniquely priceless premise for a novel. It`s not something I could have dreamt up in my wildest dreams but Carr definitely makes it work. She melds romance with suspense, real life with possibilities. She creates an unforgettable story that I couldn’t put down. Carr takes this unique novel...
3.5 starsThere was a lot going on with this book. Whew...let's see a baby was born, there was a forest fire and yes, lots of people starting their lives together. Paul has loved Vanessa since the day he first saw her, but kept his feelings hidden as his best friend was in love with her. Paul help...
It was great and exactly what I was looking for for comfort. Ellie's story was full of misunderstandings and sadness, but she faced life with the most amazing attitude, which served only to make her even more lovable. Noah was one bad boy of a minister and I think his and Ellie's chemistry was on...
Sean Riordan is in Virgin River visiting his brother, Luke, and burning up excess leave. One night he visits a bar and runs into his former girlfriend. 3.5 if you like suspense and true love than you will like this book and any other books in the series.
Another good Virgin River romance My absolute favorite book thus far in the series!
I enjoyed the book. I enjoy all of Virgin Rivers. They don't get old. Read this book out of sequence but it was fine. Enjoyed the characters. Great author.
Yes, this series is sappy and predictable....but they make for a fun, mindless read. if you like suspense and true love than you will like this book and any other books in the series.

I don't know if I enjoyed this installment of the Virgin River series so much because I've been on a waiting list for so long to get the book or because I adored the character of Luke. Being not much older than him, I can't help but be sympathetic to his fear of getting involved with a woman in ...
I came to this a Virgin River virgin... but I will probably be reading ALL the books.Conner Danson is a decent guy who had the bad luck to be the only witness to a murder, and worse luck that the murderer has enough connections to burn down the family hardware store and threaten his life and that...
Like pretty much all Mills and Boon novels, it did what it said on the pack. There are three novellas in this, Midnight Confessions by Robyn Carr, Midnight Surrender by Jean Brashear and Midnight assignment by Victoria Dahl. The front cover announced Carr's name in big letters, so I'm assuming sh...
Funny thing is I smelled apple throughout my reading LOL Okay, I didn't expect it to be this good, rarely heard the main characters in the previous books. Both of them made small appearances here and there, that's all. Anyway, I think the ending is a bit rushed considering their relationship buil...
This novel was definitely a bit of an emotional roller coaster. Carr develops her scenery in vivid clarity, allowing you to enter the story alongside her characters, while at the same time telling a unique and intriguing tale that definitely had me thinking. This is not a fast paced story, but ...

Book 18 in The Virgin River Series is another good read. I continue to enjoy this series, but lament the fact that I am nearing the end. I think there are only 20 books in the series! In this book a romance develops between Virgin River newcomer Katie Malone and former child star, Dylan Childre...

Story was just OK. 3 Stars. The Perfect Holiday by Sherryl Woods - An old woman does matchmaking from the grave after getting a promise from ...
How I loved this story. Although there were plenty of people trying to tell Paddy and Angie what they SHOULD be doing and how they SHOULD feel, there were plenty of others in Virgin River that just smiled and let them find their own way. And that's exactly what they needed.I haven't been throug...
This was an excellent book. Loved Becca and Denny. They'd been a couple long ago in what seemed like another life time. Denny broke her heart but when he tried to explain, she sent him away. Now she has a chance to see him again and she can't pass it up. Will they be able to sort through their di...
Another homerun by Robyn Carr. Usually when she keeps the regular Virgin River residents too far on the outside of the story I don't like the story as much, but this book was an exception to that rule. We still see Jack, Mel, Preacher and a few of the others. Just not very often and they are n...
This is Virgin River #19. Nora Crane is the young woman the town found living with nothing in an abandoned house(in previous books). The town fixed it up a bit for her and her two little girls. This was great! My faith in Virgin River is restored once again. Luke is gorgeous and Shelby has the right amount of pluck and vulnerability to endear her to the reader - and to Luke of course. I loved almost everything about this book, especially the family relationships between Luke and his ro...
