Why must Gwen always suffer!!! One step forward, two steps back. She is really earning her stripes as Nike's champion. The saga continues, this time, Gwen must save herself from Reapers, the Protectorate and the students of Mythos Academy. Along the way, Gwen will add and lose people from her posse as she continues to evolve as a champion. This book definitely shows her greatest growth spurt yet and I cannot wait to read the next one. OK... Like I've said before, I'm not a masochist. I seem to be easily excitable though. Because when I saw most of the series was available for checkout, I went crazy and got the first 5 books in the series... And it seemed like a waste not to read them.I really don't like a lot about the series, like skipping three pages only to find Gwen still blabbing about the type of food the cafeteria serves and how the place is designed. Is it really necessary to copy/paste that, and a few more things, into EVERY book in the series? It's too repetitive.I feel like I know how to get around the academy better than than the characters. I feel like I know the place better than the characters and that's never a good thing. And this book was actually better. Just look at those three stars!
What do You think about Frostglut (2013)?
Review for the complete series will follow after I read the last installment on 25th Feb :)
