I personally love this whole series, but this book has got to be my favorite one because the colonel and his ever-faithful lieutenant are my favorite characters (and I ship them like whoa). But other than that, it's an interesting story in a parallel world, and the author doesn't waste a character. Every character has a purpose, and the art is excellent too. I'd recommend it. :D (P.S. Thismus be one of my favorite books of all time. :) ) This instalment sees things ramping up a level or two. The brothers and their mentor are transported to face "Father". Hohenheim is already their, a literal prisoner in Father's body. Meanwhile, Greed (the Prince) and Wrath (President Bradley) are fighting it out to the death, when Scar takes Greed's place to free up the homiculus to find Father. The Colonel is forcible transported to be the fifth sacrifice, even though he doesn't fit the criteria. Meanwhile some Ishballan's seem to be doing something to try and counter Father's master plan. The volume ends with Scar, seemingly vanquished returning to fight Wrath again.Author Hiromu Arakawa keeps readers on the edge of their seats through the volume. It will make you regret that there is such a long pause between volumes here in North America.
Set up, set up, set up, set up, set up. I can't wait to read the rest!
