I enjoyed certain aspects of this book, like how Flynn seemed to have real concern for Matt and wanted to make sure he was okay and knew how wonderful and cared for he was and how he deserved better than he had been getting, but certain aspects of the book just didn't sit well with me.If you understand anything about BDSM, and I'm no expert by any means but I've read enough well-written material to know some, you know that it takes longer than one meeting in a bathroom where the guy (who is a basic stranger) tells you that you no longer belong to yourself but to him and then before you walk out the door you are collared. It just seemed a little to non-realistic to me in that aspect. I did like how Flynn reassured Matt over and over after he'd been treated so badly, I would've liked it to be longer and see the relationship evolve a little more before it went straight to collar. But that's just me. Calm, cool, collected. I really liked the Dom in this one. He cared and it showed. Caring did not lessen his status or make him come off in any way as not in control. The sub's inexperience was kind of, well, cute to read. It was kind of like "awwww". Kim Dare is also someone who interjects humor nicely into her work - and so it is here. Quite a nice exploration. Nothing too much - not too fast somehow even though it was short. I enjoyed it!
Good story but too short, would've been great to see how their relationship progressed.

I didn't expect to like this, but did! A lot! I'm not into S/D, but this was sweet.

Good short story. Would like to see how this works out between these characters.
