Geoffrey Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales (1986) - Plot & Excerpts
The medieval work, read in modern English, is a collection of stories, each told by a different traveller on pilgrimage to Canterbury. Included are portions of "The Prologue", the earthy tales of the miller and reeve, the "Nun's Priest's" fable, the Pardoner's cynical "sermon", and the lusty "Wife of Bath's" account of her five marriages.
