Second in the Bone Island Trilogy. Intriguing ghost and pirate mystery of Mad Miller and Kitty Cutlass set in Key West and off of the Bahamas. Theories on mysterious disappearing ships. Bartholomew was back, but I was not as intrigued with Sean and Vanessa. It was still a good read, just not as fun as the first one. However, recipes again for Conch Chowder and Conch Fritters...I need to seriously visit Key West! I have never heard of Heather Graham. The book caught my eye and when I read the liner, I thought I would give it a try. I really enjoyed the way she writes. It was not a hard read by any means. She is a clever writer. My favorite style of writing fiction is when the author makes you feel as if you are there. They "paint a picture" if you will. Ms. Graham does this. I hope to read more by her. This is was a great read!
Nice ghost story for Halloween. Book 2 is better than book 1. I enjoy the historical elements.
