Review of audiobook format.I know these are supposed to be "steamy", but really? Sexual tension, baiting, sexually suggestive rapport are so much better than well over 30 minutes of describing step by step, moment by moment of a single instance of Dulcie and Knight's coupling. Ugh. Maybe it "reads" better than "listening".There are redemptive moments that had me laughing. I liked several of the new additions that happen while in the Netherworld, some quite funny. As mentioned before, there are several instances of inconsistency in the story line that leaves me saying "what the heck?" Thus far, my least favorite Dulcie O'Neil story. I like the tale of Dulcie well enough to continue another book, but I don't know, should it continue like this book I may have to call it quits. Sex scenes detract from the story. They are awkward and rushed. The story is almost mature and then Her handling of her relationships is totally high school drama queen. I skipped book 2- didn't miss a thing. Read te sample for book 4, "I have to lie, oh but book 1 established I couldn't lie, we can't be together, but I want you, do me." Huh? No, just no. The assumption is that she magically learns how to become a different character From the originally established one. And that knight is supa special dumb. Which they established he isn't. So, just no.
