She’d already compulsively checked it twice since she got to the clinic for her scan appointment. Probably only a few seconds had passed since the last time. Nervousness churned in her gut, worsening the faint nausea from the morning sickness. She’d woken late this morning and had had to skip breakfast in order to get to the café on time.
