Been a while since I read this story... this is about Hawk and Johnny(cecil's friend). It revolves around growing trust between the two of them if Hawk wants his mate. I really don't remember a lot about this story. Mostly, Johnny who doesn't have many whom he trusts, besides his buddy Cecil from the hospital. Then comes in the big and intimidating Hawk, who wants to love and protect Johnny. There is definitly something addictive about these stories, I know what's going to happen and how and all that, and there really is nothing particularly great about them, yet I keep coming back and reading another and another...like chips! LOLI liked this one better than the third one, yes I read out of order and backwards! Hawk the big ol puddle of love and sweet little Johnny! The 'daddy' thing isn't really my fav, but hey..whatever!

Way better than the first book of the series, Johnny is one of the most adorable Character I read.
