I didn't like this book as much as I thought I would. This book is more of a chronology of her work in television (which the title very obviously states). I guess I just expected a little more of her sassy personality to come through - but I found the read to be mostly name dropping accompanied by some pictures. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I would only recommend this book if someone was genuinely interested in hearing about every single project she worked on 'back in the day' and with whom she worked. I love Betty White, so I'm willing to try one of her other books. Awesome autobiography by Betty White about her years in showbiz, which are still not over. I read another one of hers awhile ago called If You Ask Me (and I know you won't) which was about herself also and a lot of different diverse subjects and it was also excellent... she is a wonderful writer and a very fast read and you just get caught up and before you know it you've read a hundred pages without so much as twitching... Betty White is such a wonderful person and has done and been through so much it takes more than one book just to tell SOME of it.... I would recommend both books to any and all !!! Enjoy !!!
This autobiography is performed by Betty herself, which makes it charming and authentic.
