High Heels Mysteries Boxed Set (2000) - Plot & Excerpts
I absolutely love this series. The storyline is so well written and so well thought out, that this is one of my favorite series now. Maddie is such a mayhem magnet that I couldn't put these books down. I laughed out loud and shook my head a lot while I read some of the scenarios playing out. The characters are a great cast of very colorful personalities. This series is a must add to your tbr list. Definitely recommended. Oh my word. Maddie is an IDIOT! I don't know what Jack sees in her other than "she's cute". I'm sorry. I can't stand that. I read book 1, and started skimming through the rest of the books but on book 3 (I think, can't remember where I drew the line and said ENOUGH!) when she forgot she had a gun in her purse (who forgets they have one of those????) I told myself that was it. I was done reading this drivel. She doesn't think. About anything. Her friends are just as moronic, and her family is certifiable. I don't judge people on what they read but I really don't see how anyone can read these books. Sorry, these are not for me.
