Ummmm... okay this one sort of didn't work for me. Evan is a confirmed bachelor who hadn't had a serious girlfriend. Grace is a virgin who has never even DATED, but one night together and BOOM! It's forever love...? I get that the couples in ALL the Gansett Island books have fallen hard and fast, but this one was just too much. Along those lines, why is every single ferry out to that island not PACKED with single women? The island is chock full of gorgeous single men who are gods in bed.......All that being said, I'm still going to read the next book in the series..... but that's mostly due to the fact that I want to know how things are going to work out with some of the previous couples. OMG - the handcuff scene with Tiffany & her ex, I do not think that scene could have been written any better - that was a total mouth gaping wide open scene. During and after the scene I was LOL then afterwards I was like, oh that fool totally deseerved that and so much more LOLSo this is Evan and Grace's story and they are a sweet couple - reminded me of Mac & Maddie from book 1. Evan is baby and clearly haivng a hard time accepting love. He has this plan for his life and knows what he is and that is that - nothing will change that. Well life happens and changed it all. He is such a kind man and so much fun and perfect for Grace in so many ways. But the scene where he is drunk and finally figures out his crap out was so adorable. I wanted to just hug Evan in that scene - so happy he figured it out.Grace - what a woman! Kids can be so mean and it so crazy that some childhood crap follows you into adulthood and that even adults sometimes just do not grow up. What a creep Trey was - so glad she figured that out before instead of after. Then she met Evan, made some serious decisions about her life and took a chance on it all.
What do You think about Hoping For Love (2012)?
Another lovely book about the residents of Gansett island - can't get enough of these books!
