This month is really lucky for me in romance reading, this is the third 5-stars-book that I read! More 4,5 stars, but the improvement from the last two books of the serie is so great that I prefer 5 incredibly-involving stars! In this last book in the Gansett Island serie, we see the interaction between hot Alex and dear Jenny. It's a tender and sexy story, with funny moments and precious words, with deep insights and sad memories, a lot of hope and strength and force and courage. And less whining and man chatty disclosures than in the previous (finally!). And less characters and sub-plots (finally!). And less Tiffany and Caroline (finally!). And less children (no, it's a joke, more than ever!). Recommended! Ooo! Loved it. The Best Gansett Island Book Yet! I adored every page of this book and it is my favorite of the series so far.Jenny Wilks lost her fiancé, Toby, in the 9/11 attacks in New York City and she has been floundering, living her life in a daze ever since. She accepted a job as the lighthouse keeper on Gansett Island to begin a new life and there she has made many new friends as she is beginning to finally heal. Her friends have been fixing her up with eligible bachelors who live in the area and one morning she is awakened very early by a gorgeous man who is mowing the lawn around the lighthouse.Alex Martinez has given up his job cultivating orchids at the US Botanic Garden in Washington, a job he loved, to come back home and help his brother care for their ailing mother and run the family business. This is certainly not what he wanted but he loved his mother and knew her care and the running of the business was more than one man could handle. Trying to help his brother get caught up with their mowing contracts, he heads out very early one day to cut the grass at the lighthouse where the caretaker had complained multiple times. What he did not expect was that said lighthouse keeper was a gorgeous, sexy woman in her thirties. Wow...did the sparks ever ignite.I highly recommend this book. It is another great Marie Force novel that no romance loving woman should miss! The storyline is exceptional and it is hot, hot, hot!!
