I have yet to read a Bella Andre book I didn't like. True to form, this story is an engaging romance. Maya is an arson investigator and finds that her prime suspect in a recent string of arsons is Logan, a man with whom she had a one-night-stand six months before. Before the case is solved, these two encounter some danger together as well create their own heat. But in addition to the romance is the ability to see inside the world of the elite among firefighters - the hotshots. These brave souls fight wildfires up close and personal. They are trained to work in remote areas, for extended periods of time, with little logistical support. The fire sscenes in this book, and others in Bella Andre's Hotshot series, will have your heart pounding. This was a pretty good story overall. I enjoyed the adventure and suspense of the story and how they had this special connection from their youth. I was a little put off by the flip flopping of the characters insisting that they each wanted nothing more than help while their internal dialog was saying the complete opposite. It got old being repeated so often. Otherwise I really enjoyed the story of Dianna and Sam.
