This book was a great and exciting thriller. Very disturbing with very likeable and engaging characters. I love joona linna. He is a great detective without gimmick. He is honest and straight which is refreshing as a lot of detectives seem to be either hilariously witty or rude. Joona is neither of these things and yet he is believable and very human. The only reason why I did not give this book 5 stars was because I thought the middle section let the book down. The flashback to the hypnotists workgroup was boring and long winded and needed to be shorter on my opinion. I also think more attention could have been paid to Joseph Ek at the end of the book, as this sub plot that seemed so vital at the beginning seemed to be forgotten. All in all a very well written tense and unpredictable thriller which I would definitely recommend.
What do You think about Hypnotisören (2009)?
Goede pageturner. Zondermeer. (Waar heb ik dit nog gelezen?)
