I'll Go Home Then, It's Warm And Has Chairs. The Unpublished Emails. (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
Funny, random email conversations and nonsense rants about life make up the major portion of this book. The overall package is sweetened with nutty photos of talking cats and other silly things.Very similar to the first book. A little bit too similar. Some of the jokes get old fast, especially the email exchanges, which were pretty funny first. Still, if you're looking for a fun distraction, go ahead. Fast food as an in-between snack. I like this David Thorne a titch (I've been using 'titch' in verbal conversation for the past few months without knowing for sure if it was a real word or not. Turns out it is!) less than the first David Thorne, but that just means I laughed out loud one or two times less than last time, and that might have something to do without not being able to get into a good groove what with constantly stopping to do family time bullshit over the holiday season, which is when I started it. Now I read it and I laughed a lot and that means it's hilarious. I think a whole book of David and his best friends visiting exotic/bland locales would really hit the spot.

Not nearly as good as his first book, but still a fun and amusing read.
