I enjoyed this book but I do not recommend reading it straight after the first one as I did. The scenes were mostly similar and the dialogue exactly the same. I didn't feel like the book added much to the story, except for the prologue and epilogue. I also don't think you can read this instead of 'Beautiful' as there are some significant scenes missing, e.g. their first meeting (there is a flashback but not much detail surrounding it), Abby's reaction to the tattoo, etc. It should have been interesting seeing things from Travis's POV, but there really isn't all that much internal monologue. Well, this book wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I was so scared to be in Travis's head through some things, but it turns out he didn't really remember those moments so they weren't in detail anyways. I liked seeing how he felt about her, I usually always love the man's POV almost better than the females. It seems more romantic if you will. Pidge and Travis are great. I love them, Love the epilogue. that was nice. I liked that he kind of skipped somethings in the story. Other wise It would have felt drawn out. I liked it. phew, I feel like a weight has been lifted off of me. This book was terrifying to read. I would have been so upset if it screwed up the first one for me. But it didn't.
