For all the people that complained about his first 2 books being too much "why" and not enough "how," this is Gary's response. He said went down a dark rabbit hole of bad Amazon reviews and used everything said about his other books to improve this one. And it really shows. This book offers a good amount of case studies on social media wins and fails. It explains some of the differences in culture on a few different social media platforms, and how to engage properly on each one. This is his best book. Read it and then go subscribe to his Youtube channel and watch his #askgaryvee show religiously. I've worked in social media since 2010. I was concerned this book would either be too broad ("Your business should have a Facebook page!") or too specific ("Here's exactly what you should tweet and when.") I was pleasantly surprised to find this book landed solidly in the middle: Full of great advice on what kind of social media posts perform well and why. It's useful for anyone who uses social media to promote their own work or their company's work. The most valuable section is in the middle, where he lays out case studies.I originally got this book from the library to check it out (see: skepticism). But it's such an incredible resource that I bought it so I can have it on my desk at work. I will be referring to it often in the future. A great, great book that delivers exactly what it promises.
Interesting read with lots of real life examples from the hits and misses of social media.
