Growing up together, Sydney & Kyler became best friends ever since. But their love for each other runs deeper.Too bad they don't use the concept of speaking to each other to share their feelings :(Bc she loves him but is convinced he, the typical man-whore/ hot guy, will never see her as more than a friend. He loves her back but just knows she's too good for him. So the story unfolds. On vacation, they get snowed in at Kyler's mom's cabin and Sydney finds some extra confidence (or "lady balls") to finally open up to her best friend and admit she "wants" him, which starts the process of the buried truth to come out. I loved seeing them interact and was really able to imagine the scenes and feelings. But Sydney's insecurities drove me NUTS at times. It' a fun read, readable in one sitting, its hot and has a HEA.Go for it I really enjoyed this book. I loved how throughout most of the book, it was only Kyler and Sydney and there was no other storyline. Sometimes I feel like the other storylines in books kind of take over. But I really liked the chemistry between Kyler and Sydney, but I was a little bit annoyed with how terrible they were with communicating with each other. A lot of heartache could have been avoided that way, but then again, we wouldn't have a story then.
What do You think about Kış Güneşi (2014)?
2.5It was well written, but I found the characters completely unlikable.
