This was a random recommendations from Goodreads. When I saw it was free and part of a series I thought 'What the hell!' and got it.I must confess: I had a lot of difficulty getting it this. The book is fully of 'Character began to to do X...' making it sound like something was about the happen, but it did not.this went on for the first third of the book and I almost gave up more than once, but something, maybe the character or the prologue, kept me coming back. At around 47% of the way through, the book suddenly took off and after weeks of read just two or three pages at a time, I read the rest in about three session and loved it.The final fight scenes was very well written and the gradual drip of background details really brought it to life. By the end I was disappointed to find the end and I lok forwards to reading the next. A fantastic read more people should read it. I really like the feeling this book gave me, the whole time I was reading I was enjoying it. Plus legon Awakening has elves, and dragons. Legon Awakening has a hint of Eragon. The characters are good Taylor makes you care for them. I really like Legon he is strong and loyal. I love the relationship between Legon and his sister, Sasha. Sasha has these episodes that make her a outcast from the town. Legon being the great brother protects her from anyone who looks down on her. Legon has this weird tattoo that a ll sudden changes color and when he finds out why this is when the book kicks up. I was not expecting this book to be sad at all, but it left me interested in the next book.
What do You think about Legon Awakening (2010)?
Some of the story line had some minor errors in grammar. But over all was a great book

Many similarities to the Eragon story, but still a good read.
