:)estrelas 3.5gosto mesmo de LLM!é uma escritora que tem um jeito tão natural de contar uma historia que mais parece o "nosso" dia a dia.personagens bem crediveis, a trama é tao envolvente que achamos que estamos a ler sobre alguem que conhecemos.captamos e sentimos a "dor" dos personagens nos seus dramas, sentimos a emoçao e a alegria de um final feliz.pode parecer "simples" e "elementar" mas as coisas simples e elementares são na maior parte das vezes o que nos faz sorrir com o coração e transparecer no olhar! :) This was another great book by LLM. Brody was a carefree and non-committed cowboy who would rather be traveling on the road than settle down. That soon changed after he and his brother mended their fences and worked through their differences. I loved that Brody was genuine and passionate. What I didn't like was that he waited so long to tell Carolyn why he just up and left her one day. Carolyn was a great heroine. Independent, a survivor, and beautiful inside and out. What I didn't like was how fickle she could be. For instance, at the drive-in movie she freaked out and blamed it on the wine. She also held a grudge for 8 years. Another thing that bugged me was that she wasn't as confident as I would have liked her to have been. Overall, the book was a winner, though, and I am glad I read it. I have become a great LLM fan and highly recommend her to people who like original stories that take place in the country with cowboys and that have a certain southern charm.
