I did like this book but it did seem to lurch from one thing to the next - Honduras to NY to LA to Ireland. I also did NOT like the ending as it just seemed like the writers had stopped writing! That is not an ending to a story, Evie Hunter!I did like Jack and thought he was super hot but some of the back story just didn't really make sense and the fact that he didn't believe Abbie - hmmm. Just too much to suspend disbelief on and too many threads left unresolved. These two had total chemistry the moment we crash landed into Ecuador. Sadly, I felt the story ultimately flatlined as soon as they returned to American soil. Tis a shame the plot didn't expand on the Ecuadorian cartels and dangers therein on being a journalist neck deep in a volitile story. All depth aside, what hotblooded reader can turn their nose up on an Irish, six pack bearing, survivalist and kinky male. So three stars ye be lassies.
