Living Nightmare (2010) - Plot & Excerpts

#4 in the Sentinel Wars series and I'm still left somewhat confused by it. While I like it and am intrigued by the world SKB has created, I'm also left feeling somewhat flat. This installment covers several characters and is definitely to be read only by someone who has read the previous books. The main thrust of the story focuses on Nika and Madoc, as she attempts to save her sister and their relationship is finally resolved. This one has much more action and less sex, but it is still every bit as intense. It was certainly a fast read and resolved some situations while introducing us to future couples. Nika and Maddoc's story. I loved Nika in this, the way she fought to shake off the 'I'm so feeble, and childlike I have to be protected' type of thing. It was funny when she dominated Maddoc briefly in the bedroom. Loved the bedroom stuff, just not enough of it. And the side plot of Grace and Torr... I feel left on a cliffhanger there! And this new Megham thing and Project Lullaby... Can't wait for more!!
