Wow. I wasn't quite certain what to expect from the title but .... just wow. I really enjoyed this book and know that I am going to obsess until I can finish the series. I loved the modern and 'now' take on the story. It starts with the lovely Lydia reading 50 Shades of Grey and not necessarily embarrassed but equally not proud. Kind of how many women felt reading it I fear. Then we meet Matt ... or is it Mike? Carrying on a (temporary) alter ego while pining for Lydia, Matt/Mike truly burning the candle at both ends. Lydia's fantasies and desires are fueled by her ever consuming attraction to both Matt and Mike. Add in the sexiness of Jeremy and we have the makings of a sexy triangle of sorts.Watching Lydia accept her desires and passion while not giving up her independence and drive was great to see. She is a proud and driven woman but learns that she can let someone in. It is almost impossible to review this book without spoilers so I will say:It is hot. The characters are driven, passionate and sexy as hellThe real-life frankness of each character is a breath of fresh air.You. Must. Read. Thank goodness this was a free book!! I would have been really upset if I had paid for it. Ridiculous situation, a supposed feminist who keeps kissing the "boss" I would have yelled sexual harassment pretty quickly.She supposedly has a degree in gender studies, but you wouldn't know it by the way she acts!! Mike wants to be a billionare-a multi millionare isn't enough. Then he has a friend, Jeremy who took the money and retired and is living as he pleases and is trying to convince Mike to do the same, even though Mike runs a huge corporation. Just ridiculous. And the ending, I don't even want to go there. A cliff hanger!! I am not continuing this series.
I doubt I'll read on further with other books. Disappointed the storyline was headed to a threesome.
