At the minute this is a DNF I just can't get through this. The writing is atrocious!! "Yay" is not a substitute for "yeah". Every time they say it I hear someone cheering yay in my head. Definitely needs better editing if it's actually had any.And god Carly is so annoying. There is awkward and then there is just plain stupid, guess which category she falls into. Oh but she is so delightfully awkward that the hot tattooed tortured artist who gets all the girls must have this one. What a pile of crap If you are just planning on reading this book then I don’t know if I would recommend it. As a standalone it has a few problems, mainly the cliffhanger ending. But it is a great lead in to the rest of the series. In this book Jase & Carly meet for the first time and Jase is a little smart a$$. However they are attracted to each other and can’t seem to stay away from the other. But I have to say that my favorite part of this book is taking a trip to the tattoo parlor and meeting all of the brothers. This is a must read to get to know the characters of this series but don’t give up after reading this book. This novella has so much more meaning after reading the next book in the series. It ties up all the loose ends left in this book.*free copy provided for honest reviewfor more reviews visit welovekik(dot)com
3 stars due to some of the awkward laugh out loud moments.
