This is the final volume in the story of the Mumsbys and their friends - a fitting end i think and a satisfying conclusion - not so much as with the characters - as you may realise from me i will not give anything away - but more of an end of the mysteries - who is this person - what is the history of that character - how did they solve this problem and so on - so i think not only is it a ripping tale but also a satisfying close. This i think is on a par with the first book Larklight but simply as it bows out the series i think this is the best. Shame it ended but if you must end it on a high The subtitle on the cover reads: "The Horror from Beyond Uranus!" And the word Uranus is struckthrough and the more proper British title of the planet, Georgium Sidas, is written beside it. Because no true and proper Brit would ever utter the "U" word. =^_^=That was all I had to see! I was sold. And I very much enjoyed the story - even more so, I think, than the first two because in Mothstorm we get to see Myrtle turn into a real character with drive and personality, at last!Huzzah!
A satisfying conclusion to the trilogy, but it betrayed signs of the series running out of steam.

Absolutely ripping good fun! I'm such a ridiculous Philip Reeve fangirl. :)

Another tongue-in-cheek Space Steampunk adventure of great fun.
