3 and 3/4 StarsIn general I enjoyed this story and the characters. They were endearing, and the story was angsty and sweet. Jake just didn't grab me and that was what I was hoping for. He was a bit too manic and immature at times, but Abby has a heart of gold and gained my adoration. I will definitely continue with this series as can't wait to see what happens with AJ in Beat of the heart! This was so cute. I can actually see this happening, up to a point. Exhaustedly searching for her brothers, Abby falls onto her future, literally. And in true rocker form he tries to take it further, cause he thinks he can. I don't understand the way books seem to victimize the heroine, in order to make her/him fall in love. Since when does the bad boy deserve the good girl. In this case, obviously it works out. But I am waiting on the good boy with the bad boy tendencies to catch his own twisted butterfly. This book is not it, but to see Abby catch and release her twisted one, set it free, only to have it return... just lovely.
What do You think about Music Of The Heart (2013)?
I enjoyed this story. I did think Abby was little cheesy. I'm excited about AJ's story!
