Never a disappointing moment in anything that Katie Ashley writes. She makes you fall in love with all of the characters and transports you into the story as if you are there loving the whole thing. You feel all of the emotions whatever they may be and usually by the end your heart is full and you are freaking smiling like a Cheshire Cat. This story was also just that. I couldn't wait to get Rhys story because I freaking love all the men from runaway train. Now I'm so happy I may get up and do something.Awesome job Katie!!!! this series is sooooooo good. I enjoyed Rhys & Allison's story. I like how this book kind of went back and told the story of Allison's sweet 16 that we read about in the previous book. you also found out what happened in Savannah when Rhys went home and checked on her at school. I loved their relationship in Savannah. and how much Rhys loved his sister Ellie. total swoon. then it was like all of his feelings changed. that's the only reason I cannot give this one 5 stars. Rhys started to piss me off and he gave me whiplash with all of his conflicting actions. Allison would have walked through fire for him and he kept pushing her away. finally he saw reason & it was like I almost screamed I was so happy. now Allison is Jake's baby sister. when he found out.... I had to laugh first! totally hilarious. super sweet ending, hoping maybe there will be more books... maybe with Abby's brothers and we can kind of see where everyone's relationship goes. great series!

I couldn't resist a rock star book. Throw in a friends-to-lovers trope and I'm in. Unfortunately, this book did nothing for me. I was yawning by 20% and had to force myself to finish. It wasn't that bad really just way too cheesy for my taste. The heroine was basically a Mary Sue with very dull personality. The hero was just weak. While I like sweetness in my books, this was just too sweet and yes, cheesy. :(
