I never read reviews before I start a book I do read some after though. I must say that some people can be really harsh & I find that so sad. I actually enjoyed this first book. I loved the back and forth POV it's not easy to write like that and this author pulled it off from not only two different POV, but three and that was awesome! I like what the story is about, the twists, the action, everything. Brooke goes through so much and Logan does everything to protect her and falls in love with her at first sight. I'm into the second book now and really enjoying it. What Brooke does in the beginning of this first book is something a lot of women should do in that situation and a lot don't. I definitely enjoyed reading this and excited continuing on with it. I just got done reading My Destiny for the second time, but I've yet to review it. I usually review a book as soon as I finish reading it for the first time, especially if the book turns out to be fantastic, and this book is definitely fantastic. My Destiny is J.L. Perry's debut novel, and when I found out this was a debut novel, I was in disbelief. This book is well-written, has great character development, and held my complete attention all the way through the book. This author writes as if she's been published her whole life. My Destiny is an amazing book that will make you believe in love and I'm glad this author decided to share her story with us.
