It didn’t look like he had moved much since I left him to go see Derrick. I was glad he was still here, but mad to see him too. Then Zacariah’s face came into my mind, and I was reminded of the evening ending with me shutting her mouth with my fist. She deserved it. I should have hit her again for ruining me getting my nut with Derrick. He was so good, and I was so close. But when that door slammed, my heart damn near stopped. For a split second I thought it was Jaquon. I knew it would be only a matter of time before bigmouthed Zacariah tells him. Now that I think about it, I didn’t care about him finding out. What in the hell could he say anyway? I was tired and wanted to close my eyes and go to sleep. Getting in bed next to Jaquon did feel good because he was here with me for a change. At the same time, I carried so much resentment at how he treated me. He was sleeping so peacefully. His small breaths put my heart at ease. His movement let me know he knew I was getting in next to him.
