He tore his mouth from hers. “River, last night—” She shook her head. “No, don’t worry about last night. I want this. I want to be with you.” God, he couldn’t resist. He cupped her soft breast. Immediately, her breath caught, and he saw a spark of anxiety in her eyes. He pulled back. “River…?” She shook her head, her eyes wide and pleading. “I’m sorry.
