We play Harrisburg which is a huge rival of our school, and the energy at this game should be intense. The dance team is set to perform before the game since it is at home. Carter was all keyed up this morning about her performance and the dance since she choreographed the whole thing. I can’t wait to see it, but I am also feeling a lot of adrenaline about my game. College scouts will already be here tonight, and they will be following most of, if not all, my games this season. This is the start of me making my goal of playing college ball become a reality. The pressure is on me to perform at a high level for my team and me. I don’t want to just depend on my trust fund in life, but I want to carve out a future worth being proud of. Being with a girl like Carter, who is such a great athlete herself, I want to give it my best. This is the start of what kind of future I can give her, and I want it to be fucking fantastic. I know she’s not with me because I know how to throw a football or because of how I look.
