I liked this entry in the Krewe series. I like how Ms. Graham focused on a few select Krewe members. There were many supporting characters in this novel and I think that if we had the entire Krewe, things could have gotten confusing. Glad to see Agent Jane Everett take center stage here. She proves herself to be a good agent and worthy of her spot on the Krewe but her different background (on the fringes of law enforcement as opposed to being an officer) made her character unique. Sloan was a good character but I would have liked to see a little more development. The author hinted at the myriad reasons Sloan came back to Lily to be a small town sheriff but only one reason was explored in any detail. The mystery was very intriguing and I liked the setting as well. Makes me want to visit an old west town like Lily. I love these book - they aren't the most literary - but they are just good fun reading. Mysteries with paranormal agents - and a little romance. The villains are usually someone you don't expect - an unexpected villain. This story takes place in an Arizona ghost town - complete with real ghosts. It starts with the discovery of an 100 year old skull. Sloane - the sheriff - calls the paranormal FBI agents for assistance. They send Jane a paranormal forensic artist agent :) Bodies start appearing all over the place - along with old ghostsWon't tell you more - it would give the story away
Another great book by lady Heather. She is an awesome author.
