I loved the second book of the series more than the first. It's interesting that while both men are confident in their jobs and in general, they have little self-confidence in their relationship. Each assumes the other will tire of them and they really don't talk about how they feel. This book moves the relationship forward significantly. We also get to see what Mark does when Quinn is in trouble. Needless to say, he was awesome. Another good entry in this series. What makes me continue with this series is the relationship of the two main characters. It builds from the first book. It is obvious they care deeply for each other, but boy do they fight it. Mark gets scared (yes Mark gets scared) by his feelings for Quinn and his feelings of not being worth Quinn's feelings in return. He runs. Quinn's reaction is a surprise to Mark. Then Mark goes missing. No one seems to care, certainly not the CIA. Mark is not concerned at first. He understands about having to be gone on a mission, but soon realizes something is wrong. Mark does his thing and infiltrates the CIA to find out what is going on. Of course this is Mark. He does not sit around doing nothing. Neither Mark nor Quinn seem to be able to admit to love but actions speak louder than words. Their relationship is hot and fun and deep. To bad they cannot admit that. This book has more action and less sex. I like the action. I would love more sex for them.
