Two Lips, Indifferent Red (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
I had fun reading this one because there's a lot of part in this book where I thought the romance would be too much but then just retains its usual level and kept me on my toes to continue reading, I encountered it again and again but it never got overboard on my concept of too much romance that I had fun reading it. I like the characters, Kipp and Hyde, the Granddad, the butler, Kipp's brother and his wife, Hunter, both the best man and I even like the story of Kipp's parents it was tragic, sad and sweet. And the ending was good and nice although we all know it would eventually end that way it was still really nice to see it. 。^‿^。 This is the story of the trials and tribulations associated with the wedding of Kipp and Hyde (aka Ham). These are two guys who are from the monied south, and they are supposedly from the "right families", or so we are lead to believe. I won't give away any of the story, but I can tell you this -- if you have ever thought of a possible contrived plot twist for any story, you will finding in this book. During the course of this story, there are scores of characters, and side-plots, and name changes that make this story very hard to follow. I think if the story eliminated ten of the hurdles that were thrown in front of these star-crossed lovers, it would have been much more enjoyable. Also, for some reason, Tinnean decided not to include any really hot love scenes in this story. I understand that one of the characters wanted to wait to have sex until after the wedding, but once they were married, the honeymoon sex scene just fizzled and dried up on the vine. Generally, I like Tinnean's stories -- and, don't get me wrong, I liked this one too -- but, I didn't think it was up to the level of her prior stories. I give it three out of five stars.

3.5 Entertaining and likable, not quite WOW! but something I can see myself maybe rereading.
