Very enjoyable. I need some PJO after the end of the Heroes of Olyumpus. I listened to this one for free on an audiobook on YouTube. The sound quality was noticeably more tinny, but I am just glad I got to listen to it. So it starts with Annabeth on the NYC subway, stepping in cow pies Hera left for her (hilarious). She sees an Egyptian monster (a lion and a wolf attached together with magic). Sadie and Annabeth meet up; Sadie is chasing the third half of the statue, a dog. (Sadies's voice sounds so weird being read by Riordan). they ended up crashing the subway train, did we expect anything else? They work together so great! So much better than Carter and Percy that it is comical. I loved the mythology for this one! When the Greeks took over Egypt, King Ptolemy created a new god, a mash-up of both cultures named Serapis. He wants to drain the energy from the Egyptian and Greek gods. (Athena gives Annabeth back her Yankees cap back, which means this is serious). Sadie's reaction was awesome when she found out Carter didn't tell her about Percy! It was sad when Annabeth was nervous about killing the dog head of the future. It was so funny when they exchanged phone numbers, when Percy and Carter were too Alpha Male to do so!Looking forward to the third installment. After my heart practically leaped with glee reading The Son of Sobek, Rick surprised fans once again with another crossover. An Annabeth Chase-Sadie Kane epic crossover. This even cemented my dreams of having a trilogy based on a Percy Jackson-Kane Chronicles crossover. This is fanfiction heaven! Annabeth and Sadie has a more friendly relationship compared to Percy and Carter. I want more. Seriously.
What do You think about O Cajado De Serápis (2014)?
It did left me wanting more. I wonder if Uncle Rick will continue this crossovers.
