I read this because my friend lended it to me after she found out I read the House of Night books - it was a long time ago and I got bored with it so I didn't really read them all, but she still thought I should read the novella. So I read it.It was ok, a good light-reading but it could have been better. First, I thought it was too short (but I always think everything is too short - except the main HoN novels, that series is too large). Second, Anastasia and Dragon's romance was a little unnatural and I didn't understand how she fell in love with him if she thought he was arrogant and too cocky. But she was nice, I really liked her and I liked the High Priestess of Tower Grove's House of Night too even if she appears very little. I liked Bryan (the Dragon) too but I don't know, there's something about him when he was younger that I didn't really like. Another thing: the plot was a bit too centered around the rituals, I understand why but it got a little boring. But it wasn't awful and I reccomend it if you like the House of Night books and/or are curious about Dragon Lankford ^^ Adorei. Adorei-a!
